I'm Diego Peralta, a self-taught programmer from Bahía Blanca, Argentina, living in Berlin. I've wanted to build things on the internet since a dial-up modem made that noise next to my computer in 1998. I wrote my first sites for local businesses while I was still in high school, and I spent nine years running Pixel2HTML, the remote-first studio I founded in 2010.
Most writing about coding agents is either a demo reel or a eulogy. I'd rather write down what actually happened when I built the thing: the measurements, the parts that broke, and the decisions no model made for me.
The experiments here are mostly AI-assisted, and so is much of the writing. That's the subject, not a disclaimer. A model gets there faster than I can write the spec, and hands back the result with the same confidence whether it's right or not. Deciding what's worth building, checking what comes back, and throwing out what doesn't hold up is the half that still needs a person.
